Proudly Filipino, Tree-to-Bar Chocolate

Auro Chocolate is an internationally awarded tree-to-bar chocolate brand that promotes sustainability by working directly with local farmers to create fine Filipino cacao beans, ingredients and retail products with unique and bold tropical flavours.

Kelly Go and Mark Ocampo are the Co-Founders and Managing Directors of Auro Chocolate. They are extremely passionate about all things chocolate. They both grew up in the Philippines and first met in Chicago over a decade ago and instantly bonded over their love of food and culture.

They took an immersive course at the ZDS Institute in Germany to learn more about chocolate production from prominent professionals in the industry. In 2015, they decided to move back to home to start Auro and make a difference through fine chocolate.

Theo and Philo
Artisan Chocolates

The story of Theo & Philo is one borne out of a passion for food, fearless flavours, and the Filipinos’ timeless love affair with chocolate.

Theo is short for Theobroma Cacao, the scientific name of the cacao tree, which is the source of all chocolate.

Philo is derived from the Greek word, philos, which means love. Love for the Philippines and its many flavorful characteristics, and a love of chocolate.

Together, Theo & Philo translates to “chocolate and love”—the very same elements that go into every bar of Theo & Philo chocolates.


Theo & Philo proudly honours high-quality local ingredients from the cacao beans of Davao, Philippines, where fertile land and temperate climates produce some of the best cacaos in the region, the world-famous sugar of Bacolod, and the renowned craftsmanship of Filipinos as we share the distinct culture and fearless flavours of the finest single-origin chocolates from this side of the world.

Every bar of Theo & Philo chocolate is a masterpiece, carefully crafted to capture the rich heritage of the Filipinos.

Favuzzi

From  Montreal, Quebec, Favuzzi coffee is roasted by 

Alex Sereno and Enrico Serena, two coffee lovers and childhood friends! Enrico is the creator, and Alex is the communicator. Together, they have won the challenge of offering a high-quality product - "Slow Roast" coffee inspired by Italian tradition for true espresso lovers.

​Made with specially selected quality beans, slowly roasted in small batches to obtain balanced coffees with less acidity, revealing pleasant aromatic notes.
